It is vital to enforce preventive techniques addressing the burden of cardiovascular disease as early as conceivable. Cardiovascular risk factors lead to the development of cardiovascular disorders from early life. An interdisciplinary approach to the estimation of risk and prevention of vascular events should be adopted at each level of health care. In the past few years, there have been some major advances in this field, with the development of various new markers of heightened cardiovascular risk in particular. With this book, we present some of the emerging concepts and risk elimination factors regarding cardiovascular diseases.
